Organizatia "Ars Balcanica" din Serbia organizeaza un curs de formare in
cadrul Actiunii 3.1 a programului Tineret in Actiune, intitulat "Masks of
Diversity". Stagiul se va derula in perioada 2-9 august 2010, in Novi Sad,
Serbia.

This project will bring young people from diverse European backgrounds
together to participate in an Activity using Theatre Tools for
Intercultural Dialogue and developing the International Competences.
The primary focus of the Training will be analysing the topical subject of
diversity and related issues. Activities will include different non-formal
education methods and also practical experience in the local community.
Practical part of the project consists of final presentation of the work
in local community as a result of the training and as important
opportunity for the participants.
Objectives:
- to raise debates and confrontations about the subject matter;
- to introduce working methods using different experiences;
- to know organisations from other European countries;
- to create an atmosphere of mutual understanding between people from
different cultures;
- to explore cultural and social diversity of Europe and also to highlight
common European identity and values;
- to recognise and overcome prejudices and stereotypes that participants
have towards different groups
- to explore cultural and social diversity of Europe and also to highlight
common European identity and values;
- to develop innovative activities at local level with international
vision;
- to train and educate participants to work as multipliers in their
respective organisation and communities;
- to develop intercultural competence among participants.
Financial aspects: 70 % of travel costs will be reimbursed. Accommodation,
food and logistics are in charge of organisers.

and/or have an artistic background
