International Training Course
Baku city, Azerbaijan
May 2010

Training course Info:
Due to the programs offered but the European Society young people have the possibility to participate in different activities that can contribute to their self development by learning from each other, integrating into the international culture and believing in the build Europe base on values and respect.
Even if it is opened to young people from different social backgrounds, we have to mention that in reality it doesn't tag all youngsters. Young people from local area have fewer opportunities in understanding and reflecting their capacities in youth activities of their interest.  This is due to the gap of information because of the lack of modern technologies and informative networks at the local level. Another reason is the prioritization in many cases of those young people coming from municipal areas in this case young people from rural area remaining in the shadow. The last and not the least is the lack of motivation of being active because of no understanding of volunteering work as a learning process and active participation as self development tool.
Objectives:
- increase the participation of young people from local communities at local, national and international level.
- create a dialog and a bridge of cooperation between young people coming from local and municipal area
- discus different social needs and present different opportunities young people can benefit from.
- inform young people about the possibilities offered within Youth in Action Programme
- explore the cultural heritage of different areas and present them via photos and graffiti and further edit a book with all the results.
The project connects with the YiA Programme priorities so as it explores the cultural diversity of different countries and regions.
