We are sports and youth organization ļæ½HC VYTISļæ½ from Lithuania and we are organizing Exchange Project: ļæ½HUMAN NATUREļæ½- Youth Exchange based on outdoor methods and dedicated to fight against poverty and social exclusion.
We already prepared this project and applied it before, but there were some points to improve, so we get the answer to make better this project and apply again.
This project will be applied on the 1-st of February dead line to the Lithuanian National agency. It will be applied as a youth exchange project (action 1.1)

PROJECT „HUMAN NATURE" LITHUANIA 2010
Project name - „HUMAN NATURE"
(Youth Exchange based on outdoor methods and dedicated to fight against poverty and social exclusion.)
Ø Project idea and description:
The main project idea is: human in nature become natural (you are what you are in nature) and this project theme is fight against poverty and social exclusion.
This project is based on outdoor activities, during the exchange program there will be 5 days hike using canoes and also by foot in Lithuanian nature. We will travel by river and forest, in hike participants will be very close to nature, they need to prepare food, live in tents, travel and do other things that is used to be in hikes.
During the hike also there will be special tasks, intercultural learning and creativity activities, simulation games, teamwork. All exchange main topic is fight against poverty and social exclusion, so during hike and after it there will be discussions workshops and debates on this topic. The outcome of this project is suggestions and recommendations how to help for the peoples from different cultures understand the importance of fight against poverty and social exclusion. As a tool for this we will use nature were human is what it is in nature.

Aims :
· To promote intercultural dialogue, understanding, tolerance.
· To understand importance and prepare proposals for fight against poverty and social exclusion.
· Using as tool outdoor activities to show participants and give the possibility to understand that human in nature become natural, and that all peoples is equal in nature.
· To share intercultural experience.
· Outdoor as a tool to person's social education and individual growth.
Ø Countries:
All programme countries. The priority will be for this countries:
Finland; Sweden; Norway; Latvia; Poland; Germany.
Ø Participants:
Young people from 18 to 25 years old.
4 peoples from each country. And 1 leader.
Ø Working language: English
Ø Group size: 35 peoples.
Ø Activities:
· Creativity activities; Workshops; Non-formal education methods
· Outdoor activities and methods
· Teamwork, simulation games, discussions, evaluation, team building exercises and other activities.
Ø Costs:
- 30% of travel cost.
- No fee
- 70 % of Travel and full Accommodation costs will be covered by the Program

Youth organization "HC VYTIS" is working with youth: using non-formal education methods, and using sports activities to work with youth. Main organization aims is to organize youth activities in "sports for all" way (principles), to promote youngsters personal growth.
Organization activities are directed to organize youth exchanges, youth cooperation, to make youth get organized. Also our organization organizing youth camps, youth sports activities, seminars, conferences, and others activities.
We are using sports activities and non-formal education methods to promote healthy way of life, to help youngsters get in to social processes and become valuable society member, also to promote personal growth and to making growth personal skills and abilities.
Also our organization is involved in to activities organizing professional handball sports for teams (young peoples).
Our organization consists of different kind of specialists whose are working with youth exchanges, seminars, trainings, working with youth. In organization there are more than 80 peoples. The target group that organization is working with is 50 000 youngsters in Kaunas region.
