pentru un proiect intercultural pe Actiunea 3.2 a programului Tineret in
Actiune (actiune centralizata). Proiectul se intituleaza "Youth in Move",
va implica 3 organizatii din Uniunea Europeana si alte 3 din tari africane
(Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania) si se va derula in Uganda si Cehia in anul 2011.
Proiectul va avea ca tema dansul si va imbraca forma unui stagiu de
formare.

Dear all,
this is a kind proposal for a cooperation in our intercultural project
"YOUTH IN MOVE".
Cultura Africa is an association based in the Czech Republic. In our
projects we approach primarily the youth with multicultural programmes
like lectures/discussions on various topics and with music, dance and
drama performances. For more info about us, please see

During the last 5 years of our existence, we have become aware of the
great impact that the dance/movement has on the work with the youth and we
would like to explore this area more in the cooperation with other
organizations using also our good contacts in the East Africa. Therefore
we wrote a project called "YOUTH IN MOVE".
The project is designed as a training course for 9 European and 9 African
(Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania) dancers and youth workers - and sought to be
co-organized by a total of 3 European and 3 African organizations. The
course is to take place in the form of two 15-days sessions in Uganda and
the Czech Republic during the year 2011.
Primarily, the main aim is to create/share/exchange/experience methods of
how a movement can be effectively used for the working with the youth.
Secondly, the project provides the capacity building and networking. The
documentation and budget are enclosed.
We want the project to be financed from a grant provided by the Education,
Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the 3.2 'Youth in Action'
programme' (Youth in the world: Cooperation with countries other than
the neighbouring countries of the EU), and by the sponsors.
Currently, we are looking for the partners who would like to directly
participate on the coordination of the project and partners who can
support the project in terms of the dissemination and advertising.
Furthermore there is a continuous search for the sponsors.
MAIN PARTNERS should be from one of the EU countries, Uganda, Kenya or
Tanzania. Their role in the project would be to:
- appoint one person as a coordinator
- disseminate the information about the project
- select 3 project participants from their region
- cooperate on realizing main activities and perform the evaluation
OTHER PARTNERS should be from the same countries as mentioned above and
their role would be to help us advertise the project in the beginning and
later disseminate the results of the project in their respective regions.
The project covers all travel, board, lodging and personell expenses of
the participants and the main coordinators.
