O organizatie de tineret din Turcia (membra a retelei Eurodesk) este in
cautare de parteneri pentru Cursul de formare intitulat "Vo-YO" -
VOlunteer and YOuth Worker (Actiunea 4.3). Cursul se va derula in
perioada 1-8 aprilie 2012, in Ankara (Turcia). Partenerii in proiect
trebuie sa fie organizatii acreditate SEV.

The youngsters will have the opportunity together with the youth workers,
as couples, support each other, get to know each other and themselves
through the activities which will support their personal growth towards
volunteering especially on EVS.

Aims of the VO-YO Training
- Empower and prepare young people with fewer opportunities to participate
in EVS projects.
- Competence development of youth workers working with young people with
fewer opportunities
Objectives of the VO-YO Training
- Provide tools for young people's personal development
- Create the space for the youth workers to share their experience in the
European field
- Increase the participants' awareness about intercultural learning and
inter-religious dialogue
- Work on participants communication skills
-To give youth leaders and youth workers the opportunity to increase their
own competences and facilitation skills, so that they can effectively
promote the personal development of young people with fewer opportunities.
- To provide the space for the youth workers and youth to build up the
good relationship between each other
- To train participants in various types of problem solving, conflict
resolution technique and emotion management
- To provide the information and clarification about formal aspects of the
EVS programme.
- Deal with European awareness
- Provide tools for young people's personal development
- Create the space for the youth workers to share their experience in the
European field
- Increase the participants' awareness about intercultural learning and
inter-religious dialogue
Target groups: learning couples
a) Young people with fewer opportunities becoming EVS volunteers
b) Youth workers/Youth leaders who engage or would like to engage young
people with fewer opportunities in EVS projects
Profile of the youngster:
- is in the process of becoming an EVS volunteer
- should be willing to participate actively
- should be motivated to contribute to the programme
- at least basic knowledge of English
Profile of the youth worker:
- should be willing to participate actively
- should be motivated to contribute to the programme
- has to be able to communicate in English
Profile of the partner organization: has to be accredited for EVS or
Eurodesk
Cost
-70 % of the travel costs
-Accomodation and food during project
-Materials for work;
-Excursion will be covered
