Un centru de activitati de timp liber pentru copii si tineri din Zvolen,
Slovacia, este in cautarea a doi voluntari pentru un stagiu SEV de sase
luni, ce se va derula in perioada februarie - iulie 2012. Proiectul se
axeaza pe arta si cultura.

We, Leisure Time Activity Center /Centrum volného casu- CVC/ Domino in
Zvolen, are looking for volunteers generally interested in culture and
sports!
Our center is a leisure center for children and youth. That´s why we
are interested in offering them a~variety of activities. We are a~school
institution of the municipality office of Zvolen, we are working with
all children and young people despite their ethnic, religious, social or
political background. Although, we haven´t had any EVS experience yet,
we hope it will bring an important contribution both - the visitor of
our centre, the staff of CVC on one hand and the volunteers on the other
hand.
Each of the volunteers will get his/her own tasks in the organisation.
Here are some examples:
- Supporting and joining the youth groups which work at the centre
/dancing, music, choir,capoeira, karate,.../
- He/she will help our organisation in organizing of local, regional
activities, like festivals,competitions, sport competitions, etc.
- Guiding and providing support for the centre-activities for young
teenagers
- Assisting in the leisure activities: do-it-yourself workshops, music,
dance.
- Assisting in preparation and realisation of proposals of holiday
activities.
- Sharing experience, giving advice in the youth democracy, local
government support and similar issues.
Extra activities – besides the activities we described, your ideas about
the activities that you would like to develope here will be most than
welcomed and put into practice.
According to the tasks of the project and our personal skills we think
that it will suit best to volunteers who are:
- creative
- open to discover and willing to get involved in new experience
- happy to work with children /aged 6-12/ and young people /13-18/
- able to make own decisions, to take the initiative
Volunteers will have a lot of possibilities to spend their free time.
Zvolen is a significant administration, business and cultural center of
Central Slovakia. It is also a railway junction and the crossroads of the
transport. It is surrounded by a beautiful countryside. There are plenty
possibilities for skiing, wellness . You can visit many interesting places
in Zvolen and around the town. Because of a very good traffic
accessibility of Zvolen you can get very easy to each part of Slovakia.
