Some information:
"From Latvian rural area to European province!" is group EVS
project for 2 volunteers from different countries. We are oppening for ALL
partners countries.

Venue: Vircava, small ton in middle of Latvia. Vircava is the historical
place, was one of the Duke of Courland Gotthard Kettler favorite places.
Vircavas civil parish has 1700 inhabitants, it is rural area, 15 km away
from closest city Jelgava, there are several daily buses between Vircava
and Jelgava. Vircava is only 59 km away from capital city Riga.

Duration: full time EVS (12 month), starting from february/march 2014

Activities: This will be first EVS project in Vircava, so that why project
volunteers can feel like Cristopher Columbus. This project will give new
experience not only for volunteers, but general for everyone who takes
part in project, youth, children and all Vircava citizens. Volunteers
helping in children and youth center activities, which goals are to inform
youth about their possibilities, providing leisure time activities, mostly
based on outdoor activities (daily activities with children and some
thematical evening with local young people). One of general activities are
language course for Vircava citizens. We have great cooperation with
Vircava culture center, municipality, sport center and high school. That
means that we cooperate together and make different sport, education and
culture activities. Volunteer's work is not going to be strict
time-limited. There will be a lot of space for self-initiative in the
project. We would like to make special-creative work, half of volunteer`s
initiative and youth worker ideas and half from youth ideas. Some
activities will take place in the afternoon or during the weekend, some of
them can be in morning and day time. Volunteers will be also assisting in
daily work of the organization.

We are looking for two volunteers…

As a Young Accumulation Association (Genc Birikim Dernegi) we are looking
for two long term volunteers.

Project will realize in MUS, Turkey. Mus is located east of Turkey. The
Province of Mus is located at the Easter Anatolian Region and the province
is famous with its cultural creations and lakes.

Projects will start in February 2014 and duration of project is 12 months.
Volunteer join activites in Mus and near cities during this 1 year.

Youth Accumulation Association was established in 2006 in Muş by a group
of young people in order to contribute to the social and personal
development of young people.

The four main objectives of our association are:

1- To enhance respect, friendship and tolerance among young people and to
help them to become conscious individuals
2- To support the talents of young people by trainings
3- To help young people to participate and to harmonize not only in the
business life but also in civil life successfully
4- To protect and to raise awareness among young people about any kind of
health threat, especially about cancer

International "Blooming Plant" Oncology Days, one of the most important
international activities of ours for protecting children and young people
against cancer, was realized in 2007 in Mus for the first time. Each year,
International "Blooming Plant" Oncology Days is being organized with a
different theme; among the participants there are representative of public
institutions, non governmental organizations, youth centers, international
institutions as well as scientists. The event has the characteristic of a
platform where the best practices and experiences about combating cancer
are being shared.

EURODESK is and European information network which provides information
about the European opportunities and activities for young people in
education and youth field. In 2010, our application to become EURODESK
Local Relay approved and in April 2010 we become EURODESK Local Relay in
Mus.

During the activities volunteers work with people who live in Mus. So
volunteers will meet a new culture. Our association is working many areas
about youth and health issues. So volunteers will work with local young
people. Also our association has some mobility activities and visits the
villages of Mus for raising awareness about Cancer. During this activities
volunteers visit the villages and little districts f Mus.

For volunteers:
- they can develop their skills during this project.
- they can raise their awareness about youth health issues.
- they can meet local cultures in Mus and also Turkey. So they can join
intercultural learning activities.
- they can develop their language and communication skills.
- they can create new projects
- they will have chance to explain their own culture to the others.
- they can deveop their organizational skills,

We have mobile vehicle for mammagrophy and we visit the villages and do
some activities with specialits and doctors. Also volunters do some
activities with young people and do some activities for raising awareness
abour breast cancer. Also they can create a new activities about this
issue.

Also we organize some seminars and trainings about cancer. Our volunteers
work with local volunteers for organizing this events. We have a big
event every year. During this symposium volunteers can organize some
activities for youn people. Also this evetn is international event and
they can organize some international event for this activity.

As an organization, we are Eurodesk Turkey Relay and we organize a lot of
activities about youth information. Volunteers can join this activities
and create new tools for youth information.

For us most important thing for being an EVS volunteer is motivation. So
we are looking for volunteers' motivation first. So when we are choosing
a volunteer, we try to find this qualifications:
-they should know something about the philosophy of EVS and conditions in
EVS
-they should be motivated for participated in projects
-they can be motivated for working in youth groups or associations
-they can be motivated and flexible for working within International Groups
-they should be enough open minded for working with the other cultures
-they should be creative developing new activities
-they should take initiative for create new activities

New EVS hosting organisation in the Czech Republic is searching for
partners and volunteers!!!

Non-governmental organization Komunikujeme,o.s. (Prague) is searchig for
partner within program Youth in Action - Action 2 - European Voluntary
Service.

I tis project, which concenrs help to emploees with realizing the goals
within european projects.

These projects target to children without home, children from children´s
house or foster care. In this project will be volunteer´s task searching
for actual information, preparation, realization and evaluation of
workshops, seminars and debates, production and presentation of
promotional materials and awarness raising.

Next project is focused to sport, which should be accessible for everyone.
From this reason will be organized sport events, workshops and campaigns
for awarness raising of sport importance.

The last project, which will be the volunteer's task is safer Internet.
In this setting the children are more endangered and it is very important
to warn them before the danger.

The volunteer will receive personal experience, background, safe place to

"Friendship in box"

The project will give the involved volunteers opportunities to work
together with our partner organizations as Daily care center for disabled
children, Daily care center for elderly people number 3 in Kazanlak,
Bulgaria. The initiatives will be focused on tolerance and differences
between the generations and the changes of the way in which disabled
people are perceived, and to make the image of these institutions more
attractive.

The aim of the different activities with partners is to work together for
children and older people through creating friendships.
The volunteers will know more for disabled children who live with their
own families and the problems which they have, and the older people which
don't live with their families.
We will include the youth initiatives of the European Union to support
more initiatives for disabled children and lonely old people through
popularization of the activities with this kind of persons.
We will organize meetings with different experts in fields which the
volunteers like and will make popular the project in the way which they
prefer.
We will help the volunteers to develop their creative skills to collect
and synthesize information by publishing a newsletter about the project.
The idea for the bulletin (newspaper) will be elaborated and carried out
by the volunteers. That will give them possibility to create the design of
the product which will show their responsibility for their own future. The
volunteers will play the role of photographers, screenwriters, writers,
artists, editors, and so on.
We will include in the project activities like making green space in the
city and putting there information boards about EVS.

one of polish Municipal Cultural Center is looking for voluntter.
GOK ( Gminny Osrodek Kultury w Dywitach) is small and very active
organization which is working in rural areas. The aim of GOK is to take
care for around 15 villages. In each of them we do an activities for the
people who live there, like the art and music workshops. The Cultural
animators are field workers.

Organization do music, manual, theatre, computer and dance workshops. GOK
works with people between ages of 2 to 102 years.
Volunteer will participate and work for all off this areas, starting
from small workshops and ending on organizing big festivals.

Offener Kanal Magdeburg e. V. is a broadcaster aimed at young people. The
volunteer will have the opportunity to gain experience in a broad range of
areas. He / she will assist in the production of various programmes and
films, particularly in the areas of script, camerawork and cutting. The
volunteer will be involved in the recording of live events, such as
concerts, theatres, debates, etc., and will also assist in the production
of the intercultural youth magazine "Jugendstil" (Youth Style). In
addition, the volunteer will have the chance to produce his / her own
film. Further areas of activity include general organisational tasks (such
as technical work, archiving, programming, etc.) as well as assistance in
the presentation of video workshops in schools and youth centres.

Tasks
Work at the "Offene Kanal" (OK) is very multifaceted. A volunteer
interested in movies and television has great possibilities to incorporate
his/her interests. He/She can and should develop and shoot his/ her own
motion pictures (movies, documentary or animation). He/She will work
together with other young people: Four young employees between 18 and 25
years old work at the OK, producing film projects and broadcasts. In
addition, the volunteer will have direct contact with pupils and students
who are carrying out their projects with the equipment of the OK. The
volunteer will work in the following areas: - assisting in the production
of various broadcasts and movies, particularly in the areas of the
storyboard, camera and editing suite and the intercultural youth magazine
"Jugendstil" - supporting recordings and live recordings (theatres,
concerts, talks/discussions) - supporting users in shooting and editing
their own productions - carrying out video workshops in schools and youth
centres - assisting in general organisational tasks (providing the
equipment, archiving, copying and programming the contributions, updating
the electronic domestic news service and the website) - assisting in the
preparation and realisation of the youth video prize Saxony-Anhalt,
Magdeburg's local film contest, which is held each October.

Criteria
We are looking for a volunteer with an interest in, and a talent for,
media design, culture and journalism. He /She should be creative, should
have good communication skills and must be able to work independently, and
should also be prepared to get involved with many different people.
Ideally, the sending organisation should be active in the areas of media
design (video, internet, radio, as we are interested in further
co-operation. In this case we could envisage developing a co-operative
relationship in relation to other projects as well, which could be
achieved partly with the assistance of the volunteer during or after
his/her voluntary service. A description of the project is available in
the database of the program "youth in action" ("Jugend in Aktion"). In
addition, we provide information for those interested on the web
page www.youthnetworks.eu as well as on our homepage
(www.ok-magdeburg.de) During the selection process we will examine whether
the volunteer's motivation for the voluntary service and his/her
expectations regarding the project are compatible with the aims and
practical reality of the hosting project, and develop a mutually
agreed-upon outline of duties and resposibilities. Young people who have
already taken part in common international youth projects with our
partners will be favoured during the selection process.

Procedure
Interested volunteers should send directly us their applications until the
5th of April. The applications must have include the curriculum vitae, a
personal motivation letter and the filled application form in English or
German for projects. You can find it on our website

projects must fill the application form for every project (for curriculum
vitae, a personal motivation letter, one exemplar is enough). After this
date we will begin to process the applications; volunteers should be
prepared to have a telephone interview if necessary. We will finished the
selection the 20th of April ! After we will prepare the application form
and the activity agreement with the sending organisation and volunteer. We
will apply to the national agency for 1st of May deadline. You can find

Asociatia Millennium Center implementeaza proiectul "Intergenerational exchage – Pay it forward!" impreuna cu organizatia partenera din Georgia – SIQA care este menit să provoace şi să urmeze teme complementare a unui schimb de generaţii şi de cooperare pentru dezvoltare prin încurajarea crearii de punţi de legătură, în conformitate cu fiinţele umane aparţinând unor generaţii diferite. Ideea principala a proiectului este reprezentat de ideea de schimb ca o formă a evoluţiei şi dezvoltarii atât a indivizilor cat şi a comunităţilor locale, susţinute de punerea în aplicare a metodelor „Barcamp" şi „Time banking" combinat cu alte instrumente de educaţie non-formală. Stagiile de voluntariat se vor desfasura pe perioada a 3 luni de zile intre 01.04.2012 – 01.07.2012. Activitati: actiuni de schimb de informatii, idei, opinii si abilitati cu persoane apartinand altor generatii, cursuri, ateliere de lucru, dezbateri etc. Deadline: 17.02.2012. DESCRIERE STAGIU DE VOLUNTARIAT

Proiect EVS „Intergenerational exchange – Pay it forward!" in Rustavi, Georgia

Înaintea începerii completării dosarului de aplicație pentru acest proiect, vă rugăm să aveți în vedere faptul că în urma acestei etape va exista o preselecție a participanților, urmată de un interviu și o probă finală ce se va desfășura la sediul nostru din Arad. De aceea vă rugăm să aveți în vedere faptul că în eventualitatea în care veți fi selecționat(ă) în etapa urmatoare, costurile aferente prezentării la interviu și proba finală vor fi acoperite în totalitate de către fiecare candidat în parte. De asemenea, celor selectionati li se va solicita implicarea intr-un mini-stagiu de voluntariat de 10 h pe temele proiectului (poate fi desfasurat in comunitatea de provenienta) iar in final vor avea parte si de o sesiune de pregatire formata din mai multe module ce se vor organiza in Arad si care vor avea o durata de pana la 2 saptamani intr-un interval de timp de 1 luna inainte de plecarea in stagiul de voluntariat. De asemenea, se solicita candidatilor o disponibilitate mai ridicata in ceea ce priveste timpul acordat altor proceduri adiacente participarii cum ar fi administrarea vaccinurilor etc. Va rugam insistent sa aveti in vedere toate aceste aspecte inainte de a aplica.

Principalele obiective ale proiectului sunt următoarele:

1. Transferul de competenţe între generaţii implicate în raport cu cel puţin 5 subiecte de interes din diferite domenii pentru ambele părţi: social, cultural, istoric, artistic, sportiv, educativ, tehnologia informatiei etc., pe parcursul stagiilor de voluntariat

2. Schimbul de informaţii, idei, opinii, cunoştinţe în legatura cu cel puţin 10 probleme de interes comun între participanţii implicaţi de la toate generaţiile în timpul stagiilor de voluntariat

Sarcinile voluntarilor (linii generale):

Acest proiect vizeaza 2 clase mari de activitati:

1. "Skills World": transferul de competenţe între generaţii in diferite domenii.

2. "Knowledge World": schimbul de informaţii, idei, opinii, cunoştinţe în legatura cu cel puţin 10 probleme de interes comun între generatiile implicate si pentru comunitate ca un intreg, ajutand la rezolvarea unor probleme conectate cu nevoile comunitatii locale si/sau a lumii.

In cadrul Skills World, voluntarii EVS vor avea posibilitatea sa propuna actiuni/activitati din urmatoarele sfere:

→ limbi straine: sesiuni de deprindere de cunostinte in limba romana si/sau engleza

→ tehnologia informatiei si comunicatiilor: sesiuni de deprindere de abilitati si cunostinte de operare PC, utilizare a mijloacelor de comunicare moderne (internet, retele de socializare, mesagerii instant)

→ arta si media: ateliere de fotografie si film (sesiuni de deprindere de cunostinte si competente de efectuare de fotografii, inregistrare material video, capturi, editare si publicare a unui film).

→ informare si constiinta europeana/internationala: sesiuni/ateliere creative de deprindere de cunostinte cu privire la constructia Uniunii Europene, cultura tinerilor si mediul social actual (social media), moda, conceptul de voluntariatul, programele europene, cetatenia activa, implicare civica, educatia non-formala etc.

Pe de alta parte, reprezentatii celorlalte generatii vor avea posibilitatea sa propuna activitati din urmatoarele sfere:

→ limbi straine: sesiuni de deprindere de cunostinte in limba rusa si/sau georgiana

→ istorie si cultura: sesiuni de deprindere de cunostinte cu privire la aspecte precum religie, politica, economie, cunostinte si informatii cu privire la tara/comunitatea gazda etc.

→ arta si cultura: sesiuni de deprindere de cunostinte si abilitati cu privire la dansuri si muzica specifice, artizanat, pictura, desen, alte tipuri de arte traditionale etc.

→ gastronomie: sesiuni de prezentare a artei culinare traditionale, retete traditionale, aspecte specifice cu privire la istoria artei culinare traditionale georgiene etc.

Knowledge World, pe de alta parte va viza organizarea de ateliere/sesiuni de lucru in comun, dezbateri (voluntarii EVS si reprezentantii celorlalte generatii), acestea putand atinge urmatoarele teme/subiecte:

→ protectia mediului, educatie ecologica si aspecte legate de schimbarile climatice

→ drepturile omului

→ principiile si valorile Uniunii Europene, constructia europeana

→ saracie

→ includere sociala.

→ turism si promovarea turismului

→ angajabilitate si antreprenoriat

→ participare si cetatenie active

→ initiative de intrajutorare: lupta impotriva crimei organizate, reducere crimei in cartiere, lupta impotriva terorismului, initiative de intrajutorare in general, campanii de protectie a spatiilor comune, a locurilor de joaca, initiative de ajutor reciproc

→ educatie si formare

→ cooperare pentru dezvoltare etc.

- 100% tineri cu oportunitati reduse (vezi mai jos descrierea)

*Tinerii cu oportunităţi reduse sunt tineri dezavantajaţi faţă de alţii, datorită unor situatii sau obstacole menţionate în lista ne-exhaustivă de mai jos. În anumite contexte, astfel de situatii sau obstacole blochează accesul efectiv al tinerilor la educatie la educaţie formală şi non-formală, mobilitate şi participare transnaţională, cetăţenie activă, încurajare şi includere în societate în ansamblu.

Obstacole sociale: tineri discriminati pe motive de gen, etnie, religie, orientare sexuala, dizabilitati etc.; tineri cu abilitati sociale limitate sau comportamente anti-sociale sau riscante din punct de vedere sexual; tineri in situatii precare (fosti) condamnati, (fosti) consumatori in exces de droguri sau alcool; parinti tineri si/sau singuri; orfani; tineri din familii dezorganizate

Obstacole economice: tineri cu un standard reduse de trai, venituri scazute, dependenta de sistemul de asigurari sociale; in situatie de somaj pe termen lung sau saracie; tineri fara adapost, cu datorii sau probleme financiare

Dizabilitati: tineri cu dizabilitati mintale (intelectuale, cognitive, de invatare), fizice, senzoriale sau de alt fel

Dificultati educationale: tineri cu dificultati de invatare; tineri care s-au retras din sistemul de invatamant formal; persoane cu calificari inferioare; tineri cu rezultate scolare slabe

The Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella (Napoli, Campania region,
Italy) has been approved as hosting, sending and coordinating
organization.

We are applying for 1st of February deadline for HOSTING 5 volunteers for
a period of 5 MONTHS during the summer season.

The five volunteers will stay for five months in a private property flat
in Nerano village, close to the pathway leading to Ieranto Bay, in
Sorrento Peninsula.
The Park would like to host people who are interested in the marine
environment and who have a passion for environmental conservation.
This project is particularly suitable for youth who have a penchant for
nautical activities as sailing and boating; and for those who love marine
sports as canoeing, snorkelling, diving and swimming.
Many of the Park's activities involve outdoor mansions, beach activities
and direct contact with the sea and its creatures.

All volunteers' mansions will help the Park's staff in the fields of:
- promotion and support to the Park's activities of sustainable tourism,
as the tours of sea observation (snorkelling, canoeing) offered to tourists
- educational activities related to environmental conservation
- environmental monitoring, as spotting violations to the
Park'regulations, and regular shift activity
- environmental protection, as coordination in the Clean Up Days,
waste-collecting tours on the Park's powerboat

The activities the volunteer will be involved:
- work with fewer opportunity youngster and children in a youth center.
- different creative workshop for children and youngster,
- daily work in office
- co-working on activities and events created by Aluksne Children and
Youth Centre
- organizing free time activities for young people

All activities we will shape for individual EVS project and volunteer. All

communication skills with different type of people, also in foreign
languages, team work, dealing with unexpected situations.

Aluksne Children and Youth Centre (ACYC)
Is an educational institution established by Aluksne Town Council
according to Ministry of Education and Science.
The main goals of ACYC are:
- To establish and realize policy of leisure time activities for Aluksne
children and youth,
- To promote and offer possibilities of non-formal education for
youngsters.
There are different activities realized by ACYC:
Hobby groups and elective courses. There are 14 programs realized by
pedagogical staff and more than 600 students age 6-19 (theatre group, folk
dances, aerobics, language training…),Non-formal education and
activities for youngsters.
Youth club "The Others", Youth Health organization, Dance group, Projects
in collaboration with local municipality, non- governmental organizations,
institutions in region, Latvia, Europe, Actions, competitions, expositions
(organizing and participation).

Dear Organizations & Volunteers;

We are looking volunteers for a short term EVS Project for Street Arts
Festıval in Mardin-TR (4 weeks)

20 Volunteers and /or street artists will meet in Mardin on the end of the
May 2012 for 30 days (4 Weeks ). They will camp, live, work and produce
together a moving show with the participants of the festival that will
move through the villages of Mardin to bring art and diversity. First 7
days the artists will meet, get know each other, produce and prepare a 1
day festival schedule, then rest of the days they will move through the
villages and they will make a 1 day festival in each village. In each
village the same 1 day will be repeated. Jugglers, stilts, fire shows,
acrobats, clowns, musicians, pantomimes, graffiti, dancers, animators will
try to bring one day festival and happiness to an area that is isolated
as  geographically and cultural. Last 7 days participants collect
everything about the festival the products and plan to make better the
products of the projects . In the end of day it will be a theatre show
where all the locals can watch and that will include all the circus,
street arts and the music. Mardin has 9 county and many villages and
festival will visit 7 of counties in Mardin. All the artist or/and
volunteers will be invited for European Voluntary Service (EVS) to be
volunteers during this 4 weeks and share their skills with the others.

This activity depends of a volunteer him/her self. Depending of the wanted
activity and the profile of volunteer that we will host, they will have
opportunity to develop their own activity by share of his/her own interest
(which means that if they are good in theatre they will have chance to
organize theatre worshops or if they are good in belly dance, we will
start new open for local youth).  Our main target are kids and younsgters
till end of university

WORKING ON A FIELD
In this part we planned to bring volunteers in projects on which we work,
like:
- helping with local actions like: helping with studies for youth from
Lasocice and Przybyszewo,
- organising free time activities for kids and youth such as concerts.
- promotion of the European integration process ( in a political and
social meaning) by developing.
The four main areas, where we plan that the foreign volunteers could
involve in are:
- cooperation with European School Clubs (ESC) - informal unions between
the students and teachers in different types of schools from the following
voivodeships: LUBUSKIE, WIELKOPOLSKIE, DOLNOŒL¥SKIE. The volunteers will
travel around those voivodeships to give lectures and make workshops in
kindergardens, schools about their own countries (traditions, history,
educational system, young people's lifestyles) and the European Union
(especialy educationals programms for youth). Apart from this the
volunteers will help our volunteers to organise Europan day and Europan
Youth Conference. To show the possibilities in EU for young people.
This part can be flexible, because volunteers will be involved in
everything that we will do in a certain moment. If we will organize art
festival they will have opportunity to be involved. In periods where field
work is not necessary volunteers will have chance to develop their own

3) St. Staszic Complex of Schools in Wschowa
- helping Career Councelour with office work and leading worshops for
youth (integration, career planning, discovering strengths and weaknesses
etc)
- organising events in the school (spring day, valentines day etc)
- supporting POLISH-GERMAN exchange which is organised every year in the
school
- helping with english lessons - to make them more attractive and active
for youth
- writing articles for "Echo Staszica" newspaper
- supporting ongoing school activities

Small office with basic accessories is available, nice staff (special
contact person - ready to answer questions and help). The volunteer can
also take part in other activities of our NGO or activities of our
supporting and partners organisations.

We would like to welcome a volunteer in the age between 18 - 30 y.o. with
as much artistic as realistic soul, who is enthusiastic and keen to do a
lot of different activities, who would like to either teach teenagers
important things about dance, music, theatre and/or acting or, help with
creating/editing webside of our partners institutions and our NGO. We plan
that the volunteer to his/her advantage will learn many things about
Polish culture and language. We need a person who would like to share with
kids, and youth what is "youth in action" and what kind of europan
programmes they can use in their lifes. That person should like working
with children and teenagers and have communicative command of English
language.It would be also perfect if person is experienced in writing
grants application and fundraising.

Dear friends,

We would like to apply with a project within EVS programme for 1 November
deadline. Our idea is to host a group of volunteers in our organisation in
Razlog, Bulgaria, who will stay for 3 to 4 months. Volunteers will take
active role in organising and implementing a big project on mobility of
volunteers, which will be coordinated by our association.

The activities of the volunteers will be:

- Alternative PR practices - the volunteers will help our youth workers
promote the association and all youth activities through media (web,
alternative or mass media) and through public events. They will be the
"press attaches" of IIC and of Youth in Action and EVS programmes. The
volunteers will have the chance to work with local and national media (TV,
newspapers and radio) and to organise different public events with and for
the young people from the region.

- Office work - mainly volunteers will obtain and share skills and
experience in project writing, communication with our partners and the
process of implementing already approved projects during their stay in
Bulgaria. Our association implements many national and international
projects in youth and culture and social fields.

- Work with the young volunteers of IIC - organising some cultural
events, training courses, any kinds of public events and other common
activities with active participation of youth not only from IIC but from
the region as well

- Help in the social institutions we work with - the volunteers will have
the chance to help people with different special needs and to develop
their social skills.

- Organizing non-formal thematic meetings with local people to introduce
their culture, traditions, to teach and learn foreign languages and to
establish a sustainable intercultural dialogue with local people.

Please, specify in which of the activities mentioned above you are
interested in.
If you want to practice something else, please don't hesitate to write
to us what exactly your area of interest and your idea is.

The round trip from your country to Razlog and back, accommodation, food
and some pocket money will be covered by the project for this period.

We, Leisure Time Activity Center /Centrum volného casu- CVC/ Domino in
Zvolen, are looking for volunteers generally interested in culture and
sports!
 
Our center is a leisure center for children and youth.  That´s why we
are interested in offering them a~variety of activities. We are a~school
institution of the municipality office  of Zvolen, we are working with
all children and young people despite their ethnic, religious, social or
political background. Although, we haven´t had any  EVS experience yet,
we hope it  will bring an important contribution both - the visitor of
our centre, the staff of CVC on one hand and the volunteers on the other
hand.

Each of the volunteers will get  his/her own tasks in the organisation.
Here are some examples:
- Supporting and joining the youth groups which work at the centre
/dancing, music, choir,capoeira, karate,.../
- He/she will help our  organisation in organizing of local, regional
activities, like festivals,competitions, sport competitions, etc.
- Guiding and providing support for the centre-activities for young
teenagers
- Assisting in the leisure activities: do-it-yourself workshops, music,
dance.
- Assisting in preparation and realisation of proposals of holiday
activities.
- Sharing experience, giving advice in the youth democracy, local
government support and similar issues.
Extra activities – besides the activities we described, your ideas about
the activities that you would like to develope here will be most than
welcomed and put into practice.

According to the tasks  of the project and our personal skills we think
that it will suit best to volunteers who are:
- creative
- open to discover and willing to get involved in new experience
- happy to work with children /aged 6-12/ and young people /13-18/
- able to make own decisions, to take the initiative

Volunteers  will have a lot of possibilities to spend their free time.
Zvolen is a significant administration, business and cultural center of
Central Slovakia. It is also a railway junction and the crossroads of the
transport. It is surrounded by a beautiful countryside. There are plenty
possibilities for skiing, wellness . You can visit many interesting places
in Zvolen and around the town. Because of  a very good traffic
accessibility of Zvolen you can get very easy to each part of Slovakia.
