Project Summary:
Our exchange has as a goal to share important values such as the care of
the health, welfare, equality, the comradeship and cooperation through the
practice of sport and creative activities, mostly outdoor. Our main
language of communication will be Spanish.
The objectives of this project:
In addition to sporting and creative activities in this exchange,
conducted in the month of June, will be carried out cultural visits to
nearby cities to our municipality such as Cordoba and other towns of the
region where we will appreciate its architectural and cultural legacies.
Likewise, we will know all the resources of alternative leisure available
in our county in the field of youth.
The working methods and techniques of non-formal education that shall be
used for the achievement of the objectives include workshops, visits,
Power Point presentations, outdoor sports (canoeing, orienteering, hiking,
etc.) documentaries, exchange of views, a range of games that will provide
a better understanding of the topic, discussions and conferences.
The exchange will take place in the district of the Alto Guadalquivir and
its duration will be 8 days including the arrival and departure days. The
number of participants will be up to 25 young Europeans from 3 different
countries.
In addition, the activities include lectures related to the theme of hands
of psychologists, experts, all of this accompanied by visits to several
institutions and organizations such as Youth House, Provincial Institute
of Social Welfare, Association "I Want To Live" for the prevention and
assistance to drug addicts, and Andalusian Youth Institute.
Among our goals is to bring Europe closer to our citizens. For this reason
taking advantage of the exchange, and counting with the participation of
young people who are going to participate in it, we will be hosting a
series of collective action, where all of them will be able to participate
and all the inhabitants of the municipality and the region in relation to
Europe; lectures, games of knowledge, driving known as gymkhana, etc.
Specific objectives:
* Promote healthy lifestyles through sport and outdoor activities.
* Bring values such as respect, tolerance, equality, solidarity, these
being essential for social cohesion.
* Promote the knowledge of other cultures by sharing experiences.
* Identify and understand cultural diversity, through an awareness of the
different social and cultural realities
* Transmit the fundamental values of the European Union, especially of
solidarity and tolerance of the young people.
* Understand the non-formal education, the exchange experience and best
practices.
* Promote the idea of European citizenship and the values and principles
of the European Union.
* Promote the Youth in Action Program as a tool for the realization of
intercultural activities.
* To strengthen the cooperative work and create a safe environment for
participants to develop new ideas on future projects.
* Expand the communication network of young people.
Procedure:
The main theme of the exchange has three clear slopes: The European
awareness, sports and outdoor activities and culture. These are the
foundation of the project. We wanted to take advantage of the medium where
it is located our municipality to conduct a series of cultural visits, as
well as sporting activities, outdoor, capitalizing on the closeness of the
Sierra Morena. Our region has a great ecological value and is very
conducive to perform activities in natural spaces. We have carried out a
project of inclusion very rewarding in the region, transmitting our value
as rural.
